Here's a guide to the start dates for Oahu public and private schools, as well as universities, for the 2025 school year.

Kaka‘ako’s vibrant evolution continues with the introduction of Kahuina, a transformative mixed-use development from developer Stanford Carr. Kahuina will be located in Block C, one of nine blocks in the Kaiāuluʻo Kaka’ako Master Plan by Kamehameha Schools. Bounded by Cooke, Auahi, Coral and Pohukaina Streets, this new development is set to be a key landmark in the Kaka'ako neighborhood.

The Oahu residential real estate market is steady but restrained, as high borrowing costs and home prices, coupled with economic uncertainty, continue to suppress buyer activity. However, low housing supply relative to buyer demand suggests the market will remain stable through the end of this year.
