Born in Japan and raised on Oahu, Rio is fluent in English and Japanese, and he combines a bicultural perspective with a lifelong connection to real estate, helping clients confidently navigate Hawaii's housing market.

Real estate has been a part of Rio’s life from an early age. His grandmother, who continues to work in real estate in Japan, his mother, a licensed real estate professional in Japan, and his father, a licensed real estate professional in Hawaii, all inspired his passion for the industry. Growing up surrounded by successful real estate professionals gave Rio firsthand insight into the importance of building lasting relationships and providing exceptional service. Today, he is committed to helping clients find more than just a property—he helps them find a place where they can build their future, create lasting memories, and feel truly at home.

Rio earned his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he developed a strong understanding of markets, financial decision-making, and the factors that influence communities and industries.

In his free time, he enjoys running, spending time at the beach, traveling, and photography. Through these experiences, he continues to deepen his appreciation for Hawaii’s unique neighborhoods, culture, and natural beauty.
