Chad M Takesue

Chad Takesue is a Hawaii real estate broker, housing advocate, and business leader based in Honolulu. A Kaneohe native and longtime Hawaii resident, Chad has helped buyers, sellers, investors, and business owners navigate the Oahu real estate market for more than two decades. He currently serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer of RESCO, Inc., the parent company of Locations LLC, one of Hawaii's leading residential real estate firms.

After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Puget Sound, Chad received his MBA from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He began his professional career teaching mathematics at Castle High School while working as a Realtor Associate and later transitioned into a full-time real estate career. In 2008, he earned his Broker's designation, and in 2012, he was named a Partner at Locations in recognition of his sales success and dedication to client service, later transitioning into executive leadership roles within the organization.

From 2017 to 2019, Chad served as Senior Vice President of Sales for Locations, leading initiatives focused on customer experience, agent productivity, and professional development. After serving as Chief Sales Officer, he was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of RESCO, Inc. in February 2026.

Chad is widely recognized for his leadership and service within the Hawaii real estate industry. In 2022, he served as President of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS®. He currently serves as a Director of Hawaii REALTORS® and has represented Hawaii at the national level through service on several National Association of REALTORS® committees, most recently the Federal Taxation Committee. He previously served as President of the Locations Foundation and continues to serve on its Executive Board, supporting community initiatives and philanthropic efforts throughout Hawaii.

Over the course of his career, Chad has worked with first-time home buyers, move-up buyers, luxury home clients, investors, and business owners. His experience includes residential real estate, condominium sales, investment properties, relocation, and strategic real estate planning throughout Honolulu and Oahu. Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his three children, coaching youth sports, traveling, and embracing the outdoor lifestyle that makes Hawaii such a special place to call home.
