Prices for Homes and Condos Both Flat in July

Big Island prices were flat in July, with the median home price down -1.5% from July last year to $320,000 and the median condo price flat at $292,000. East Big Island market conditions are still showing stronng in spite of volcanic activity.

Big Island Sales Activity Down from Last Year

The Big Island sales activity was down again in July, with the number of home sales down -15% and condo sales down -40% from July last year.

Bid-Up Over Asking Price

Bid Ups of Big Island homes and condos are up from July last year. In July 2018, 1 in every 8 homes sold and 1 in every 11 condos sold were bid-up over asking price.
