Chad Takesue

Chad Takesue

Interim Chief Executive Officer

Chad Takesue is the Interim Chief Executive Officer for RESCO, Inc., Locations' parent company. 

Chad joined Locations in 2005 as a full-time agent and has successfully transitioned into many roles throughout his career at Locations, including Managing Partner, Senior Vice President of Sales, Senior Vice President of Property Management and Chief Sales Officer.

He earned his Broker's license in 2008 and was made a Partner in the firm in 2012. Chad is also a past president of the Locations Foundation, the non-profit arm of Locations. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Locations Foundation. He is also the 2022 President of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS®.

A graduate of Iolani School and a former math educator, Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Puget Sound and a Master of Business Administration from the Shidler College of Business at the University Hawaii at Manoa.

Renee Dona

Renee Dona

Chief Administration Officer

As Chief Administration Officer, Renee Dona is responsible for the firm’s daily administrative operations and human resources functions, as well as facilities management, compensation and engagement and corporate communications.

Prior to joining Locations, Dona was director of corporate administration & human resources for Atlanta-based PEMCO, Ltd., a real estate services provider for the federal government. Dona has 21 years of corporate administration experience managing human resources, financial accounting, marketing and information technology functions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Strayer University.

Scott Choi

Scott Choi

Chief Financial Officer

Scott Choi joined Locations in 2022 to serve as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he oversees the firm’s finances and strategic planning initiatives.

Prior to joining Locations, Scott served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Hawaiian Host Group. He has extensive experience in senior leadership and finance that spans more than 30 years in both Hawaii and California. He has also worked for Hawaii-based development and homebuilding companies, including The Gentry Companies, Ko Olina Company, National Housing Corporation of Hawaii and Honsador Holdings, a building material and electric supply distribution company.

Scott currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from New York University, as well as an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

John Chandler

John Chandler

SVP - Technology & Innovation

As SVP - Technology & Innovation, John Chandler is responsible for the architecture and implementation of all operational and business support systems, including the design and development of unique, proprietary software that defines Locations as a global leader in real estate technology.

John joined Locations in 2016, after more than a decade of technology experience in Silicon Valley's high-frequency trading industry with Pacific Rim Markets.

Atau Sakuma

Senior Vice President of Sales

Atau Sakuma is the Senior Vice President of Sales for RESCO, Inc., the parent company of Locations.

Atau joined Locations in 2007 as a full-time agent and has served the company in multiple leadership roles throughout his career, including Partner, Sales Coach, and Director of Sales. In his most recent role, he led the revitalization and oversight of the Locations Sales Coaching program, agent training and regional sales meetings, providing strategic business development support to agents across the brokerage.

With more than two decades of real estate experience and a strong commitment to agent success and professional development, he now oversees initiatives focused on agent productivity, retention and recruitment.

A graduate of the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington, Atau is active in his community through church and youth sports.

Darryl Macha

Darryl Macha

Principal Broker

As Principal Broker, Darryl Macha is responsible for the real estate activities and conduct of Locations agents, including agent compliance to statutory requirements, resolving transactional issues and the enforcement of company policy and procedure. He is also a proponent of agent education and conducts new and experienced agent training with the goal of mitigating risk to the brokerage and its agents.

Licensed since 2006, Darryl joined Locations in 2017. Over his nearly  two-decade long career, he has built a reputation as a trusted industry leader and advocate for homeownership, professionalism and ethics. As 2018 president of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS®, he worked tirelessly to advance the real estate profession and protect the rights of homeowners in Hawaii and nationwide.

Darryl served as a director for both the Hawaii Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. In 2020, he was selected as one of just 18 agents in the country to participate in the NAR Leadership Academy, a program that prepares future leaders to guide the organization on a national level. In 2024, he received the Realtor® of the Year award from the Honolulu Board for his many contributions to the Hawaii real estate community.

He holds several professional designations, a reflection of his commitment to furthering his education and providing his clients with exceptional representation and service. He is also a graduate of Waipahu High School, the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Dale Carnegie Training Hawaii.

Corbett Kalama

Corbett A.K. Kalama

Executive Advisor for Real Estate Innovation

Corbett A.K. Kalama served as President and Chief Executive Officer of RESCO, Inc., Locations’ parent companyfrom 2023 to 2026. He continues to serve the company as Executive Advisor for Real Estate Innovation.

Prior to joining Locations, Corbett served as executive vice president of the Weinberg Foundation’s Hawaii Office. He has also held numerous positions at First Hawaiian Bank over 32 years, including executive vice president and manager of the bank’s Wealth Management Group. 

Corbett serves on the boards of the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation and the First Hawaiian Bank Foundation, and he is president of Friends of Hawaii Charities, as well as director and coach of Kailua Canoe Club. He has previously served as a Kamehameha Schools Trustee. 

He is a graduate of Western Oregon University and the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, where he was also a faculty member for 20 years.
